What is BF Collaborative Publishing?

It is a BuddyForms plugin that allows the author of a post to invite a user to be the editor of this post. In this way, collaboration in publications is promoted.

How to add BF Collaborative Publishing to a BuddyForms form?

You must create a form of any type in BuddyForms and add the Collaborative Publishing field. In the "General" option of the field, the options should be shown:

Label: It is the label with which the Collaborative Publishing field will be recognized in the backend.

Description: A description can be added to the field so that users have better information when filling it.

Editors: You must select the user role that you want to collaborate in the post to send the invitation. Only users belonging to that role group will be shown in the form, the other users will be hidden

Invite by Mail: By checking the option, the option to send an invitation to potential collaborators who are not yet registered will be shown on the form. In addition, the option "Invite Register Page" will be enabled to select the page to which the user will be directed from their email.

Message Text: In this option you can add the message that will be sent by default in the mail to the guest user.

Delete Request Message Text: This option allows you to delete a post as long as all the editors agree, an email will be sent to the editors with an option to accept or not to delete the post, except the author and the person who sends the request. In this option of the form backend you must configure the message that will be sent in the mail.

In the "Valiation" option of the field, the options should be shown:

Required: This box must be checked if you want the field to be required in the form. When checking it, * must be added to the form.

Required Error Message: This is the message that will be displayed if you try to submit the form without filling in the field to warn that it must be completed.

How to get rid of being a post editor?

You must go to the list of entries and click on the button "Remove as Editor", pressing this should show a window with the options of "Accept or Cancel" if you press Accept it will be automatically removed and a message will be displayed.
