Redirect a Page to the BuddyPress Member Profile

In BuddyPress, we do not have a page for the member profile. This makes ist difficult to redirect to the member profile. 

If you want to redirect to the member profile after "Submitting a Form", "Login", "Reset the Password" or after the registration when the user clicks on the activation link you need to use a custom function.

Copy the above function into your theme function.php and change the id to the page id you want to redirect. 

If the user is logged in and visits the page he gets redirected to his profile automatically. Now if you select this page in your form settings redirect or as activation page the user will get redirected to his profile.
