Step by Step Instructions
Now that you're connected to the Hubspot platform, the next step is to go to BuddyForms and create a new form. To do this you must click on BuddyForms > Add New, scroll down and select one of the Contact Form templates (in this case we're using Contact Full Name).
Now you need to click Publish (you can change the name of the form first if you want).
The next thing you should do is go to Hubspot and create a form in which the submissions made in BuddyForms will arrive. To do this you must click on Hubspot > Forms > Create Form, choose the option "Embedded form" and click Next.
You can choose a predefined template or use a blank template and add the fields you need. We will use a blank template and add the First Name, Last Name, and Message fields (note that the email field is already added).
A new pop-up window will be displayed with the form information, you will need to click on "HTML embed code" and copy this information as needed for the next step with the fields added, you must publish the form by clicking the Submit button and then Publish.
Now go to the BuddyForms form and scroll down to the Hubspot Integration section. In this section, you must enable the integration and enter the Hubspot form data (portal and form id) obtained in the previous step.
Once you have saved the changes you only have to include the form in your preference page using the generated shortcode.
You can make a test submission to your form and verify that the information has been sent to Hubspot. After submitting the form go to Hubspot > Forms > Your Form.
By hovering over each submission you can click on "View Submission" to obtain detailed information about it.
