01 Installation
Install and activate required parent plugins for BuddyForms Members:
- BuddyPress
- BuddyForms
Once required plugins are activated, install and activate the BuddyForms Members plugin.
02 Form Creation
Once you’ve activated BuddyForms, you should see a new BuddyForms tab located in the left side menu.
To create a new form, go to BuddyForms → Add New
Choose your desired form name, and use the builder to create your form. Use the dropdown located in the bottom right corner of the form builder meta box in order to choose more fields.
03 BuddyPress/BuddyBoss Integration & Grouping
Integration
In order to integrate you newly created form with your BuddyPress/BuddyBoss profile, scroll to the bottom of the page to the BP Member Profiles meta box.
Find Add this for as Profile Tab, and make sure the checkbox is ticked off. This will create a new tab in your BuddyPress/BuddyBoss profile with your newly created form, ready for submissions.
Grouping
To group desired forms, locate the Form Setup meta box and click Edit Submissions. In the Enable site members to manage their submissions section choose your desired attached page to group your forms in, OR create a new page.
Once the attached page is selected, scroll down to the BP Members Profile meta box, tick off the checkbox located in the Use Attached Page as Parent Tab and make this form a sub-tab of the parent section.
Repeat these steps for each form you’d like to group together under one tab.
